The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping is a global initiative originally created in 2013 by three equestrian Majors: the CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Tournament and the CHI Geneva. In 2018, the Dutch Masters became the fourth Major of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, providing the world's best riders with an additional opportunity to win the most coveted prize in the sport. Widely regarded as the ultimate show jumping challenge, the Rolex Grand Slam rewards the rider who wins the Grand Prix at three of these shows in succession.

The Royal Windsor Horse Show has been held annually since 1943. For five days in May or June, an elite array of equestrian talent gathers in the grounds of Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom, for a majestic international competition in dressage, show jumping, carriage driving and endurance riding. Rolex’s first year as Official Partner, in 2016, was especially significant, as the show included 90th birthday celebrations for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Swiss rider Steve Guerdat remains at the top of his profession after more than a decade of outstanding success. In 2018 he added a second Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final title, having also triumphed in Geneva in 2010, and claimed a bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games™. His other honours include victories at the World Cup™ final in 2015, 2016 and 2019, and at the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHI Geneva, one of show jumping’s Majors, in 2013 and 2015. The pinnacle of his illustrious career, however, was undoubtedly his individual gold at the 2012 Olympic Games in London on Nino des Buissonnets. That victory confirmed a burgeoning talent, evident since his earliest days of competing, and followed his team bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and team gold at the 2009 European Championships in Windsor.

Martin Fuchs

Martin Fuchs is a Swiss Olympic show jumper who was welcomed into the Rolex Family of Testimonees in 2018. Born in 1992, Fuchs has already gone on to achieve great success and first made his mark on the world stage in 2010, where he won team gold at the inaugural Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. In 2015, Fuchs won team bronze for Switzerland at the European Championships, and 2016 welcomed more accolades with an individual ninth placed finish at the Rio Olympic Games and an overall sixth place in the team event. 2017 saw further highlights for Fuchs, a 4th place at the World Cup Finals in Omaha, another team bronze medal at the European Championships and several 5* Grand Prix wins. 2018 saw Fuchs continue to impress on the international show jumping circuit, as he finished second individually at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ and also second at the World Cup™ final in 2019.

Scottish show jumper Scott Brash has made history by becoming the first rider to win the three consecutive Majors of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping at CHI Geneva in December 2014, the 2015 CHIO Aachen in Germany, and the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ in Calgary in September 2015. Since he started competing with Hello Sanctos, he won Team Gold at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Team Gold and Individual Bronze at the European Show Jumping Championships in 2013 and the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final in 2014 in Geneva.

US rider Kent Farrington has, over the past 10 years, ascended to the top of show jumping. He has won a team silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio and numerous titles in North America, Europe and Asia. In 2011, Farrington took his first European victory at the prestigious King George V Gold Cup, and in 2015, he became the first American to win the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final, in Geneva, Switzerland. These are just a few of the many impressive foundations of Kent Farrington’s crowning presence in the sport. His most recent notable victory came at CHI Geneva in 2017 where he won the Rolex Grand Prix for the first time.

French equestrian, Kevin Staut, won team silver medals at the 2010 and 2014 World Equestrian Games™ in the United States and France. Considered one of most gifted riders, he played a key role in France’s victory in the Nations Cup in 2009 and 2010, followed by a victory that same year in an equestrian Major, the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHI Geneva. In 2016, he was part of the French Team who took gold at the Olympic Games in Rio. In 2017, Staut finished the year by winning the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final in Geneva.

As the first woman to be ranked World No. 1 in jumping, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, a German of American descent, is a reference for women riders everywhere. Hard work and dedication have enabled her to remain at the top of this most demanding of disciplines. Her triumphs include two Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final victories and three World Cup™ Final victories, making her so far the only woman to have accomplished this feat.

In 2007, she took home the winning title at an equestrian Major, the CHIO Aachen; as well as the individual gold medal at the European Championship that same year; the individual and the individual and team bronze medals at the World Equestrian Games™ 2006; and the team gold medal at the WEG 2010. Constant hard work and dedication are the secret to her remaining at the top of this competitive sport.

Olympic Champion Eric Lamaze is one of the most successful riders of his generation. He has won some of the world’s most prestigious international show jumping competitions, numerous World Cup™ qualifiers and three of the equestrian majors: the Rolex Grand Prix at CHIO Aachen (2010), the CN International Grand Prix at CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ (2007, 2011), and the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHI Geneva (2008). His Individual gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio proves that passion, skill and determination are a winning combination. Lamaze finished a successful year in 2016 by winning the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final at CHI Geneva in December.

Rodrigo Pessoa

Success came early to show-jumping champion Rodrigo Pessoa, who led the Brazilian team to a bronze medal at both the Atlanta and the Sydney Olympics (1996 and 2000 respectively) and was crowned 2004 individual Olympic Champion in Athens on his horse Baloubet du Rouet. World Champion in 1998, he has also won the World Cup™ Final three times, in addition to many Grands Prix trophies the world over, including several equestrian Majors such as the Rolex Grand Prix at CHI Geneva and at CHIO Aachen. He also won the Rolex IJRC Top 10 final in 2003 and 2005.

Isabell Werth is the world’s most successful dressage rider and has represented Germany at five Olympic Games, winning team and individual medals at each – six of them gold. She was individual and team world champion at the World Equestrian Games™ in 1994, 1998, 2006 and 2018, and also won team gold in 2014. Her unrivalled career includes numerous trophies at the European and German Championships, as well as victories at the 1992, 2007 and 2017 World Cup™ Dressage Final. Year after year, Isabell Werth has produced the superior performance that defines the greatest athletes of any era.

Zara Tindall, the daughter of the United Kingdom’s Princess Anne and top-level rider Captain Mark Phillips, is carrying forward the family’s excellence in riding. After a brilliant career in the Young Riders, she collected individual and team gold medals at the 2005 European Eventing Championship in Blenheim and individual gold and team silver medals at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen. In 2012, her long‑awaited dream of competing at the Olympic Games was finally realised at the London Olympics: riding High Kingdom, Zara took home the team silver medal, yet another extraordinary achievement.

The International Jumping Riders Club unveiled the concept of a Top 10 Final in 2001 to recognise the achievements of the finest riders in Show Jumping. The 5 day Rolex Central Park Horse Show kicks off in September with the Central Park Grand Prix, presented by Rolex. Held at Wollman Rink, with New York’s impressive skyline for a backdrop, this unique equestrian show is a highlight on the social and equestrian calendar. The biggest names in the sport take part in this prestigious event, which has quickly become renowned thanks to its unparalleled setting at the heart of one of the world’s most vibrant cities.

Equestrian lifestyle perfected. Few words more accurately describe the Winter Equestrian Festival, one of the leading US competitions. Located in Wellington, Florida, the show attracts riders from more than 33 countries and 50 US states, ranging from amateurs to the top-ranking professionals in the sport.

Approximately 5,500 horses, 2,800 riders and 800 trainers take part in the full 12-week event, joined by 250,000 spectators and visitors – impressive figures for a crowning occasion.
