THE MASTERS TOURNAMENT

Rolex and golf

A symbol of tradition and prestige. The Masters Tournament, played at Augusta National Golf Club, is the only Major held at the same venue each year. Created in 1934 with an invitation-only policy, the tournament attracts golf’s elite and produces some of the most memorable moments in the history of the game. All of the best-known players of our time have left their mark there, but only one winner leaves with the famous Green Jacket.

TODAY'S CHAMPIONS

Rolex and golf

There can be little doubt what makes a Rolex Testimonee. These players share the Swiss watchmaker’s perpetual ambition for excellence and superior performance. Their number includes today’s established champions, athletes whose skill and application have earned them a place at the pinnacle of the professional game.

TODAY'S CHAMPIONS

Jason Day

Today's champion

Fall, but always get up. By drawing on his past experiences, overcoming the tough times, Jason Day made golf history in 2015, winning his first Major with style and skill, and carding the lowest total, 20 under par, in the history of the Majors.

Phil Mickelson

Today's champion

King of the “flop shot”. The People's Champion. Righty who forged a legendary career playing as a lefty. Phil Mickelson defines perseverance, and never turns away from a shot at greatness.

Martin Kaymer

Today's champion

Martin Kaymer's grip remains relaxed, comfortable. A picture of calm. Determined best describes his ascent to the top of the game. Methodical works, too. And then comes his swing. Beautiful, fluid and effortless. His attention, like his rise to the elite ranks, remains steady.

Adam Scott

Today's champion

What he has mastered cannot be learned from a book. The pervasive calm that accompanies him is a natural gift, honed by a commitment and desire from within. Subtle is the presence of the man who began playing in Australia, but whose performances have made a statement around the world, most resoundingly with his courageous play-off victory at the Masters Tournament in 2013.
